Chord Hero Makes Memorable Debut at Education Korea 2025February 6, 2025
Chord Hero captivated hundreds of Korean educators with its first-ever exhibition at Education Korea 2025, introducing both its flagship Maker Ukulele Set and the new Van Gogh Explorer series to enthusiastic crowds.
The Question That Started It All
"Is this really something my students can build?" was the question we heard over and over as educators looking at our Maker Ukulele Set and the personalized ukulele by students.
Their amazement turned to excitement when they discovered how each student can build their own unique instrument, naturally integrating STEAM learning while creating something truly their own.
The exhibition reached new heights when educators experienced the ChordVentures app firsthand. Available on both iOS and Android, this innovative application transforms chord learning into an engaging game, with educators noting how quickly even beginners could start making music. Many commented on how the gamified approach could revolutionize music education by removing intimidation and replacing it with play.
The highlight of Chord Hero's participation was the unveiling of the Van Gogh Explorer series--an innovative program bridging traditional art appreciation with modern technology. Through guided video tutorials, students learn Vincent van Gogh's distinctive techniques and apply them directly to their ukulele designs.
What particularly impressed educators was the digital transformation component. Using VoxEdit software, students can convert their hand-painted, Van Gogh-inspired ukuleles into stunning 3D digital artworks, creating a seamless bridge between traditional artistic practices and modern digital skills.
This successful Korean debut represents a significant milestone in Chord Hero's journey, opening new doors in one of Asia's most education-focused markets. The enthusiastic reception signals promising opportunities for Chord Hero's innovative approach that weaves together music, art, and technology in ways that make learning a joyful adventure of discovery and self-expression.
